The Doors perform two shows at the State Fair Music Hall in Dallas, TX and debut material from the forthcoming L.A. Woman
album. (The venue is today called The Music Hall at Fair Park.)
Only one show at 8:00PM is originally scheduled, but when tickets quickly sell out, a late show at 10:30PM is added.
It's possible that "Light My Fire" was performed during the early show, but it does not appear on a surviving audience recording of the concert. The band reportedly debuts "Riders On The Storm" during tonight's late show.
The State Fair Music Hall originally seated about 4,000 people, but a renovation in 1972 reduced the venue's capacity to 3,420.
